      l. Miscellaneous Bible Facts. The following are a few miscellaneous facts about the Bible which may be of general interest to the Lord's children:

i. There are sixty-six Books in the Bible.

ii. There are thirty-nine Books in the Old Testament.

iii. There are twenty-seven Books in New Testament.

iv. The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 119.

v. The shortest chapter in the Bible is Psalms 117.

vi. The longest verse in the Bible is Esther 8:9

vii. The shortest verse in the Bible is John 11:35  

      m. Preserved by God. The scriptures that were written as God inspired them are preserved by God. This truth is declared as follows:

Psalms 12:6-7 The words of the Lord are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.
